This is the first step in the public consultation program. A series of interviews will be held with key stakeholders and groups, the purpose of which will be to introduce the study program and to engage in discussions on the topic areas described in Activity 2 above. An interview guide will be developed and reviewed with the client in Activity 1 based on these topic areas. Also in Activity 1, we will priorize interviews in terms of those that should be undertaken on a personal basis and those which can be done by telephone conference.
Interview results will be summarized in the form of a working paper for use in the development of the tourism futures working paper (Activity 5).
