Tourism Best Management Practices 2010
The Best Management Practices program is intended to minimize the impacts of tourism in a manner that addresses both residents' and industry concerns. By actively participating in this voluntary program, operators demonstrate their commitment to address important community concerns.
Residents can help operators monitor the success of this program by providing feedback to the Juneau Convention and Visitor's Bureau via the Tourism Hotline (586-6774 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org).
During the summer of 2010, the Juneau Convention and Visitor's Bureau will again be responsible for monitoring the tourism hotline and passing messages onto the applicable tourism operator. The hotline is monitored daily between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, May through September. If you need immediate assistance from a tourism operator or if it is after business hours, please call the tourism operator directly. (The list of operators will be published as soon as it is available.)
