Mendenhall Valley Main Control Panel:
The control panel in the Mendenhall Plant is the "electronic brain" of the facility. This panel montiors and sequences the operation of the plant via programmable logic controllers. These units receive signals from flowmeters, level indicators and status switches, process information and send out control signals to the plant equipment. In addition to the PLC's, the instrumentation system includes a computer for programming the PLC's, terminalsfor operator control of the treatment process, an alarm printer and related equipment.
