POLICE CRISIS INTERVENTION SPECIALIST (Click Here to apply) The Juneau Police Department is hiring a Police Crisis Intervention Specialist. This is a grant funded position that will work with victims of domestic violence and related crimes. Duties of this position include:
Minimum Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a social work or a closely related field. Experience: Two years of experience in social work, social services or related field. Other: Applicants must posses or obtain a valid Alaska Driver's License by date of appointment and for continued employment.

JPD uses Public Safety Testing to proctor our initial police officer testing which includes the written exam and the physical ability test. To find a testing date and location that works for you, go to the Public Safety Testing website and follow the directions. You can choose any of the open Public Safety Testing dates and/or locations. Public Safety Testing occasionally offers testing in the Juneau area. If you possess dedication, integrity, strong communication skills, a firm reassuring manner, and sound judgment under pressure, you can make a difference as a Juneau Police Officer.
