Ask a Dispatcher
Q. I have a traffic ticket that needs to be paid, but I cannot find the ticket on the courtrecords.alaska.gov to pay by credit card. The ticket says that I can pay with a check made out to the plaintiff. Does this mean I should make the check payable to Juneau Police Department?
Dear Juneau Resident,
Errr... had to phone a friend on this, JPD Records clerk Brian Youll. The man who knows says:
The Court Records website is only for State Statute Citations and CBJ Statute citations written after July 24th.
All CBJ Statute citations written before July 24th must be paid at the City and Borough of Juneau Accounts Receivable office. Checks can be made out to CBJ and either placed in the utility billing drop box at Super Bear, the payment drop box at JPD, or the payment drop box at City Hall.
Alternatively payments can be mailed to:
CBJ Accounts Receivable
155 S. Seward St.
Juneau, Alaska 99801
Payments may also be paid over the phone with a credit card to (907) 586-0379.
