FLOORBALL INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE


Object of the Game

Floorball is similar to hockey in that the object of the game is to score a goal in your opponent's goal using a Floorball stick.  Many hockey programs use it as dryland training during their off season

 

 

 

Program Format

 

The Floorball program will run one night a week for 6 weeks.  Each session will consist of instruction with skills & drills, followed by a scrimmage.  Instructors will divide up teams evenly each week.

The age groups have been combined together and coaches will divide according to age and skill level.  The program will take place at DZ middle school from 6pm-7:30pm for ALL AGES

Participants will need non marking sole gym shoes, and comfy work out clothes to play in.  Goalies will need to wear a sweat shirt and sweat pants.

 

 

 

Registration Information

 

Registration begins with a special one day registration on May 10 at Dimond Park Aquatic Center from 9am-1pm.  It will continue May 12 - May 30, or until full.  Check out our flyer or call for details!
