Picnic Shelters Reservations
PARK HOURS: 7 A.M. TO 12 MIDNIGHT
Shelter Reservations are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Fee: $26.25 per hour (includes tax) with a maximum charge of $210 for 7am to 10pm rental.
Reservations for April 8, 2016 through September 11, 2016 can be made beginning January 25th, 2016. Reservations can be made in-person at 155 S. Seward St., Rm. 218, emailed, faxed or mailed to the Juneau Parks & Recreation office.
No reservations are needed to use our shelters from September 12, 2016 through April 6, 2017, during this time shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will accept shelter reservations for 2017 beginning Monday, January 30, 2017.No faxed or mailed in requests will be accepted from January 30 - February 10, 2017 (Reservations in person only during this period).
We do not accept reservations without payment.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and need to be made at least three (3) days prior to date of shelter use. You may call Parks & Recreation for shelter availability at 586-5226.
Fires in parks
BOUNCY HOUSE and VENDING POLICY: If you are using a vendor at CBJ Parksite for catering or entertainment, that vendor must have a valid CBJ vending permit displayed on site at your event. They are subject to JPD ticketing of violations. Contact Parks & Recreation Administrative Office for details at 586-5226. First Come - First Serve Facilities
The following parks have picnic areas available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parks & Recreation does not take reservations for these areas.
