"Little Mikey" by MK MacNaughton
Large scale charcoal portraits of Juneau residents of different ages, backgrounds and personalities accompanied by short statements from the models explore the pros and cons of keeping, carrying and sharing secrets. Self-reflective questions are raised: When do we hold too much in? When do we talk more than we should? How well do we know each other? This exhibit opens with a public reception on Friday, March 7th, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm and will be on display through Saturday, March 22nd. MK will give an Artist's Talk on Saturday, March 8th (click on Public Programs for more information) and will teach a portrait drawing class on March 16th (click Museum Classes for registration form).
