Ordinary Things / Extraordinary Tales

January 2014

Milk Bottles and Crate from Peterson Dairy, Donated by Mr. and Mrs. Seely Hall, selected by Emily Wall, JDCM 89.33.001

Ordinary Things / Extraordinary Tales is an exhibition of utilitarian objects from the City Museum's collection selected by 13 community curators, all of whom are active in the arts in Juneau. The guest curators then responded to these artifacts in very personal, subjective ways, increasing the objects' meaning to Museum visitors and illuminating the way objects shape our human existence.
