Tour Guide Training
Workshops on the history and culture of the Juneau area are offered yearly. Each program comes with fact sheets on Juneau and specific topics discussed.
The cost is $27.33/ person/ workshop. Sign up 3 or more employees for a workshop using one method of payment and receive a 15% discount! On the evening of your workshop, all City Museum gift shop items are 20% off.

Juneau History - Thursday, May 17, 6-9 pm
Instructor Richard Stokes, a 36 year resident of Juneau will share information about Juneau's historic sites, local lore, eye-catching plants, wildlife watching, and much more. After retiring from a 23 year career with Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, Richard has driven buses and led hikes and whale watches for Gastineau Guiding. He was chosen as Princes Cruises Guide of the Year for Juneau in 2006. The Museum's video, Juneau: City Built on Gold, will also be shown during the training.
