Cycle Alaska volunteers donated their time twice this summer to help CBJ park staff pick up trash between False Outer Point and the North Douglas Boat Ramp.

Merry Ellefson and the Juneau Douglas High School cross-country team volunteered to pick up trash at Fish Creek Park recently.

The CBJ Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank volunteers from North Douglas Neighborhood Association, Cycle Alaska and the JDHS Cross-Country Team for their help in keeping CBJ parks and trails in North Douglas clean throughout the summer.  Special thanks to Merry Ellefson for organizing the on-going clean-up effort for the second consecutive summer.
