CBJ Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank John McConnochie, Brad McConnochie, Buffy Pederson, Brandi Jessen, Alison de LaBruere, Kristin Jones (kneeling) and Joe Slagle of Cycle Alaska for volunteering on Friday, July 30th.  The volunteers picked up 2,110 pounds of trash, including a couch, a mattress and construction materials, between False Outer Point and Fish Creek Park.

Special thanks are due to Merry Ellefson and the North Douglas Neighborhood Association for organizing volunteers to assist park staff at the North Douglas park sites and trails this summer.
