Picnic Shelters ReservationsFrom Late September through March the shelters are first come first serve, there is no charge and you do not have to fill out a reservation form, bathrooms are closed, water and electricity is shut off, but a port-a-potty is available.
The Parks & Recreation Department takes reservations for April through Mid- September shelter use. We will accept shelter reservations by fax, mail, email, or walk-in.
Reservations may be made in person at the Juneau Parks & Recreation office, located on the second floor of the Municipal Building (155 South Seward Street) or by fax. We do not accept reservations over the phone.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. You may call Parks & Recreation for shelter availability at 586-5226. Fees must be collected at the time of reservation Electricity at Savikko #1 & #2 and Twin Lakes Shelter is set on a timer from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

All shelters are ADA accessible-Cope Shelter is some what difficult to maneuver to.
