Juneau-Douglas City MuseumPlayful PastimesA hands on experience for the whole family! In May 2007, the Museum opened Playful Pastimes, an expanded version of our ever popular Hands-On History room. This interactive exhibit is a great place fo children of all ages to experience early Juneau life first-hand. Our hands-on room includes a dress-up area, an old fashion kitchen, historic toys, a hand-shadow puppet area, a table loom and much more! . Teachers are encouraged to include Playful Pastimes as part of their activities while visiting the Museum. |
