Museum Pins & Zipper Pulls

                  JDCM pin and zipper pull

These beautiful pins and zipper pulls were specially designed for the Juneau-Douglas City Museum by Bill Spear to commemorate the acceptance of the Museum building to the National Register of Historic Places.  Officially called the Veterans Memorial Building, it was the site of the official statehood ceremony and initial raising of the 49-star flag on July 4, 1959.  Today, fifty years later, the building is home to the Juneau-Douglas City Museum and an historic 49-star flag is still flown.  The pins and zipper pulls measure approximately 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter and feature the Veterans Memorial Building and the 4-story totem pole.  $10 per pin or zipper pull.
