Dates: Monday-Friday June 3rd-July 12th
Ages: 7-11 years old (Campers must be 7 years old by the 1st day of the camp they are signed up for).
Time: 8am-Noon
Fees: $100.00 per participant/per week (includes tax & t-shirt)

2013 Weekly Themes
ISLAND EXPLORERS June 3rd - 7th
Come explore Douglas Island on foot. Campers will hike the Treadwell historic trail, view the Island from the Tram & end the week with a Douglas Island scavenger hunt.
WATER WORKS June 10th - 14th
Beach week here we come! Be ready for water balloon games, sand castle building & maybe even a swim in Gastineau Channel.
CAMPERS ON THE MOVE June 17th- 21st
Lots and lots of games, teambuilding activities, sports & a little friendly competition.
FROM THE GROUND UP June 24th- 28th
Discover what lives deep under ground & high in the trees, visit a local master gardener & do a little planting of your own.
SURVIVAL QUEST July 8th-12th
Join us on our search through wild places and spaces...You never know what you might find. Expect surprises during this last week of camp!

The Treadwell Summer Camp is a great place to spend a safe, fun & exciting summer vacation! The themed, half-day nature and recreation focused camps are based out of the Treadwell Arena in Douglas.Campers enjoy meeting new friends and exploring the natural world through hands-on activities, recreational games, crafts and hikes. We explore local flora and fauna, hike the Treadwell Trail, take advantage of Savikko Park, spend time at Sandy Beach and hop on the city bus to make our way out of Douglas. Camps will be held rain or shine.

Cancellation policy-If you choose to withdraw a camper from Treadwell Summer Camp you will receive a credit-on-account voucher. This voucher is valid for up to 1 year and can be used at any Parks & Recreation facility that uses the Safari database.
