Aant' iyeik (Bypass) Fields -- Located out the road past
Auke Recreational Area on the uphill side. Ballfields and
community garden. Aant' iyeik means "Spirit of the Land," which
was chosen in respect for the native village that is located nearby
The Pipeline Skate Park -- The Pipeline is a skate park
located off Glacier Hwy , in the Valley. The park offers many
skating courses for people of all ages and skills.
S'it' Tuwan (Beside the Glacier) -- This park is located
off of Threadneedle Street, located in the Valley. This park
contains a climbing structure, slide, teeter totter, spring toys,
regular swings, a basketball hoop, benches and tables.
Adair Kennedy Park -- (Juneau's only artificial grass field)
Off Mendenhall Loop Road, adjacent to Floyd Dryden School. Picnic tables,
lots of grassy area, baseball field, football/soccer field, track,
restrooms, and drinking fountains. This park also includes a climbing structure (click here for images).
Mendenhaven (Hidden Park) -- Mendenhall Boulevard at Duck Creek.
This park contains a large grassy area, tables and a regular swing
set. Duck Creek runs along side the park.
Riverside Rotary Park -- Off Riverside Drive, located on a lake
with a walking path around the lake. Climbing structure,
a sand box, regular and infant swings, lots of benches, portable rest
room, drinking fountain, and ducks to feed. The park also includes a 9/11 memorial dedicated to the memory of those who fell that day, and designed by Parks & Recreation’s own Brent Fischer and his wife, Debbie. Check out the Master Plan for soon to be park updates here!
Melvin Park -- Riverside Drive. Basic play equipment, rest
rooms, ball fields and a drinking fountain.
Dimond Park -- Adjacent to Riverbend School on Riverside Drive,
includes ballfields and soccer.
Lena Park -- Located out the road past the Auke Recreational
Area on left side of road. Ballfields or soccer depending on need of
