This book is full of beautiful ideas for gardens. Even if you don't have a kid, it's an inspiring example of ways to create interaction between people and the natural world. Some of the ideas might be a stretch for your location. We can't all find a 100 year old weeping beech tree that's perfect for climbing, or get our bean vines to grow around a wood frame to make a perfect vegetal teepee, but most of us could manage a small hut or a place to rake sand or allow water to flow and collect.
