|CATALOG ENTRY||Thomas F. Flynn|
On the morning of September 11th, 2001, after American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower, journalist Thomas F. Flynn
"Hastily, and with a purpose,
[loaded] the journalist's tools:
pen, note pad, phone, into a bag"
and got on a bicycle and rode to the Twin Towers. There, rather than simply reporting on a story, he became part of it. This moving book of poetry, inspired by both Flynn's experience and Dante's Inferno, is the result.
