Use in the library or from home or office

The NetLibrary online electronic book (e-book) collection offers full text reference, textbooks, and research materials for reading online at all three Juneau Public Libraries. NetLibrary also includes selected classic titles that are in the public domain. The collection includes 500 titles.
You may preview any book that is not already in use for 15 minutes. Then if you want to read further, you may “check out” the title. You will have exclusive use of the title for 24 hours.
In order to check out books from NetLibrary or to use books from home, you must first create a user account from a terminal within one of the library branches. Go to the signup page to create your account .
