Historic Downtown Walking Tour

May 2015

4th of July, 1899, JDCM 2009.29.008

Join an enthusiastic local guide for a walk around Juneau's original town site and learn about some of the people and events that shaped our city. The tour includes entrance to the Museum (come a little early so as to spend time with the exhibits) and a visit to Alaska's Capital Inn for late-afternoon tea. Pre-registration is required. Click "more information" below for the registration form or call the Museum at 586-3572 to confirm your spot, as the group maximum is 10 participants. Note: This evening tour specifically targets locals and folks serving visitors to Juneau (although tourists are always welcome on any of our tours), however the Museum offers walking tours 3 times a week throughout the summer or by appointment. If you have a large group and would like to arrange your own walking tour, call the Museum at 586-3572 to discuss.
