Poetry Reading: Burn Thompson Writers Group

April 2017

Come enjoy an evening of poetry with the Burn Thompson Writers Group, in celebration of National Poetry Month. About 8-12 members of the group will share their original works as a part of the poetry reading. This event is free, and doors will open at 6:45pm. The Burn Thompson Writers Group meets every other Wednesday from 5-7pm at the Downtown Juneau Library. While the group started off as a mixture of poetry and prose writers, these days most of the writers who attend are poets. During meetings writers share their work and offer each other gentle critiques. The group is open to the public.
