All About Our Rocks and How They've Shaped Our Towns FREE Cathy Connor and Mike Blackwell will talk about Juneau's geology, including everybody's essential question: "Why is gold here?" Join them for a non-technical chat about how rocks, ice, wind, and wave govern our daily lives, our economy, and our community development. Retired UAS Professor of Geology, Cathy Connor, author of "Roadside Geology of Alaska", and retired geological engineer Mike Blackwell were project volunteer consultants on the Museum's newest exhibit, Rocks and Minerals
