Friends of the Library Annual Meeting
The Friends of the Juneau Public Libraries will hold their annual
meeting on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Mendenhall Valley Public Library. The agenda includes:
Proposed revisions to the Articles of Incorporation are
housekeeping changes to correct the official name of the
corporation from “Friends of the Juneau Borough Libraries”
to “Friends of the Juneau Public Libraries”, which is the
name currently in use. Revisions will also correct minor
spelling and formatting errors.
Proposed revisions to the Bylaws update committee and
officer duties, clarify meeting procedures and records
maintenance, and provide for adoption of a financial
investment policy.
Refreshments will be served.
