Juneau Police Department
Bryce Johnson was appointed Chief of the Juneau Police Department in June 2013. He graduated from University of Utah with a BS in Political Science and from Brigham Young University with a Masters of Public Administration. Chief Johnson is a graduate of the FBI National Executive Institute Session XXXVIII. Chief Johnson began working in law enforcement in 1992. Before moving to Juneau, he worked his way up the ranks at the Salt Lake City Police Department. He has also held positions as an intelligence specialist for the U.S. Naval Reserve and as a teacher, teaching concurrent enrollment classes in criminal justice and law enforcement through a community college/school district partnership.
