About Harris Harbor

Harris Harbor is located within walking distance of downtown Juneau. Downtown Juneau has grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, coffee shops with wifi, a library with public computers, a post office, and public transportation. There is a launch ramp located at the north end of Harris Harbor with parking space for two trailers.  Harris has 204 slips; many slips have water and electricity (20 amp, 30 amp, or 50 amp). There is a pump-out station located on the South-East corner of Harris. There is a shower and self-service laundry facility on the other side of Egan Drive from Harris Harbor. No mail or deliveries are accepted for patrons due to liability issues. Transient moorage is available on a first-come first-serve basis. For moorage reservations, please call the Aurora Harbor Office at (907) 586-5255 or hail on channel 73 when the vessel reaches the Gastineau Channel.
