Assessor's Office

The 2006 Board of Equalization is scheduled for 5/18/2006; 5/23/2006; 5/30/2006; 5/31/2006; and 6/15/2006, City and Borough of Juneau Assembly Chambers at 5 pm.

The meeting will be to hear property assessment appeals where the appellants have not come to reconcilation with the Assessor. Appellants that will be meeting the BOE will be notified by letter.

PROPERTY ASSESSMENT APPEAL INSPECTIONS

If you have filed a property assessment appeal with the Assessor's Office and you have not been contacted to schedule a property inspection appointment, please call 586-5220 to set-up an appointment. The Assessor's Office will schedule a mutually agreeable time to inspect the appealed property.

Business Personal Property Forms and Instructions:

Business Personal Property Appeal Form

January 31 - filing deadline for Business Personal Property Declarations and attachments. The CBJ Code provides no extension for the filing deadline.

Exemption forms for Community Purpose, Export Manufacturing, and Non-Profit Organizations are available from the Assessor's Office, located at 155 South Seward Street, Room 114, and are due January 31.
