• Remove all extraneous matter such as trash, dirt, gravels, and vegetation, etc. from within the flume.
• Power wash (with water only – no chemicals to be used) the concrete surfaces of the flume walls and floor to remove moss and algae with particular care being taken to not remove the underlying concrete, which may be soft in places.
• Remove vegetation from the joints between concrete wall panels.
