    Description:
    The CBJ’s Juneau Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant (JDWWTP) utilizes the activated sludge biological treatment process to treat wastewater originating from the downtown Juneau and nearby Douglas Island areas. This project will consist of removing accumulated grit comprised of sand and organic material from the facility’s two aeration basins and one digester basin and moving it to the facility’s ash disposal pond.
