Alaska Commercial Fishermen's Memorial

Tall Tales

I was trolling along
With the radio on
Wondering where I should go.
All I could hear
Was no fish here
It was a continual tale of woe.
They were always complaining
When there was fish
It was raining.
Or, My God! It’s starting to blow.
Yet when their trips are up
And they’ve partook, of the cup
You’ll find it wasn’t so slow.
