No new snow in the past couple days. Temperature is staying in the mid-30s, so we’re still enjoying spring-like conditions with phenomenal corn skiing. Everything is good, on and off the groomers. The weekend should be more of the same, potentially with some of light rain or snow. Low snow conditions do exist across much of the lower mountain. Everything up higher is good to go.
Tomorrow, all chairlifts will run starting at 9:00am. Black Bear and Ptarmigan will close at 3:30pm and Porcupine and Hooter at 4:00pm. Bowls close at least 30 minutes before last chair.
Nordic skiers! If you are an intermediate and above skier and interested in improving your skills, Scott McGee, the PSIA National Nordic Team Coach and one of the highest regarded Nordic coaches in the world is coming to Eaglecrest. We’re offering classic and skate lessons this weekend. Check out our website or call the Snowsports School at 790-2000 x211 for reservations.
All mountain services are open. The whole month of February our Retail and Repair Shops will have great deals: $10 off full tunes, $5 off edge/wax combos, and T-Shirts for just $13! The thought for the day is this – “Winter is not over. Right now we’re just ahead of schedule for spring skiing.”
