Raven Ski & Snowboard Program

The goal of this 10-week program is to give school age students an opportunity to ski or snowboard as part of a physical education curriculum. * Students must be six years of age to participate.

This is a 10-week program starting in January 2015. Registration will open in October.


Winter Season 2015

 * Students must be enrolled with Raven (kindergarten age and above) in order to participate.

  • Students needing lift tickets must check in with the Snowsports School Window by 12:45pm, students need to be at the meeting area ready to ski or board by 12:55pm.
  • Lift tickets & Equipment Rentals are good for the entire day and we recommend students practice prior to their lesson.
  • Classes will not be offered prior to January 9th or after March 13th. No Make-Up lessons will be offered. Eaglecrest reserves the right to cancel lessons due to weather or snow conditions. Should this happen Eaglecrest will schedule a make-up day.
  • Students will choose 1 discipline (Alpine Skiing or Snowboarding) and will remain taking lessons in that discipline throughout the program.  


IDEA Lesson 10-Week Pricing

All Raven students registered by Monday, December 8th, 2014 can choose to pre-pay for the entire 10 weeks or choose to have Raven invoiced for the entire 10 weeks.  Those who choose to pay in advance will be subject to 5% sales tax.  There is NO pay-per-lesson option available.

Parent Pricing

Parents are invited to come and ski/ride with their students on the day of their lessons for a reduced price.

  • Parent Lift ticket - $29
  • Parent Rental - $10
  • Parent Lessons – we will no longer offer parent lesson opportunities on Raven homeschool days

5th Grade Passport Program

Juneau 5th graders are eligible to receive free lift tickets through Eaglecrest’s 5th Grade Passport Program. Register online at www.skijuneau.com. Students must present their Passport each visit to receive their daily lift ticket.


Adaptive Lessons

Adaptive ski and snowboard lessons are available to student with disabilities by making a reservation in advance.
