Eaglecrest Wins Marketing Award
Juneau, AK- May 17– Eaglecrest Ski Area received a marketing award at the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) annual conference in Carlsbad, California. Marketing awards are presented annually to ski areas nationwide to recognize the best in ski area marketing campaigns that ultimately help grow the sports of skiing and snowboarding. Eaglecrest received the marketing award for the best Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month Campaign.
Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month (LSSM), a national effort organized by the snow sports industry is intended to get families and friends outside in the winter. Over 300 resorts in 34 states participated in this season’s Learn to Snowboard Month Campaign with over 75,000 lessons given nationwide. A panel of three judges reviewed how effectively each resort implemented the LSSM initiative within their operations. Also receiving awards were Mt. Shasta Ski Park in California, Sugarbush Resort in Vermont, & Park City Resort in Utah.
