Temperature at the top of the mountain is 34 degrees with light winds at 10 knots, 40 at the base with even lighter winds, higher clouds with so great visibility up here. No new snow in the past couple days, but the mountain has softened up a bit with the warmer weather. Total hero snow up here today. The whole mountain was great. Soft, creamy turns all the way down – East, West and Middle. Groomers and off trail!

Porcupine, Hooter, and Ptarmigan lifts start loading at 9:00 AM this morning, with Ptarmigan closing at 3:30 this afternoon, the bowls closing at least 30 minutes prior, and Porcupine and Hooter closing at 4:00.

The upper Nordic loop has been groomed for skating and set with classic tracks, and access to the upper loop is via Trickster. The whole month of February our Retail and Repair Shops will have great deals: $10 off full tunes, $5 off edge/wax combos, and T-Shirts for just $13!

The thought for the day comes from the movie Aspen Extreme, which was playing at my place last night – “Dream big or don’t dream at all, baby.”
