Bring a Friend!

Why should I participate?

Skiing and snowboarding allow you to get outdoors for some exercise at a time of year when you usually want to stay inside. How many recreational activities can you do outside in the cool, crisp air of winter? How many provide times when family and friends can get together to share the same experience? Learning something new can be incredibly challening and rewarding! The sooner you jump in, the more time you'll have to improve and enjoy skiing or riding. Because in the end, humans were never meant to hibernate!

Visit the official Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month Website!

Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month is a national initiative celebrated in January that encourages kids and adults to learn how to ski and/or snowboard, or improve their skills by taking lessons from a professional instructor. Ski areas and resorts throughout the U.S. offer free and reasonably priced lesson programs during January in an effort to get more people on the snow. The LSSM website offers a comprehensive listing of participating resorts and retailers. It also includes information on preparing for a quality snow experience and staying involved.

Space is limited, advance reservations are required. To book, please call (907) 790-2000 x211. Please review Eaglecrest Snowsports School Policies prior to booking.
