Eaglecrest Learning Center

The Eaglecrest Learning Center will be built in such a way that the Rental Department and Children's and Adaptive Areas will exit onto the snow for easy access to the slopes.

The Eaglecrest Learning Center will house the following facilities:

• Snowsports School
• Equipment Rental Department
• Retail Shop
• Equipment Repair Shop
• Adaptive Learning Facilities
• Lift Ticket Windows
• Classroom & Children's Program Area
• Staff Offices
• Restrooms

Why do we need an Eaglecrest Learning Center?

• With the addition of the Porcupine Lift, Eaglecrest has seen a surge in new users
• Over the past five years, the Snowsports School has been growing at more than 5% annually
• The current layout and space for the Snowports School & Rental Departments is insufficient and not up to industry standards
• Increased capacity, better layout and more user friendly operations are necessary to serve our growing numbers of skiers and snowboarders
• As we serve more and more of the Juneau Community, we need to bring our learning and rental facilities to the next level
