Per
the Committee's request at the last meeting, staff has prepared information
to assist the Committee in a discussion
of the pros and cons of the dock extension proposed by the Draft Long Range
Waterfront Plan, and the dock near Gold Creek proposed earlier by the Harbors
Department.
Included in the packet is a summary of recent survey efforts, and a discussion
of traffic impacts if the dock near Gold Creek was built as part of the development
of the Subport. Representatives of the Harbors Department will attend to present
their analyses of these two dock projects.
