IV. Juneau School District Budget
The Charter requires the Juneau School Board to submit the JSD budget by April 5 of the current year. This requirement was met upon receipt of the JSD budget on March 28, 2014. The packet includes the JSD budget submission.

Within 30 days after receipt of the budget, the Assembly shall determine the amount to be made available from local sources for school purposes, and shall furnish the board with a statement of the sum to be made available. This action is scheduled for the April 28, 2014 Assembly meeting. By May 31, the Assembly must appropriate the amount to be made available from local sources. This action is scheduled for the May 19, 2014 Assembly meeting.

Glen Gelbrich, JSD Superintendent; David Means, Director of Administrative Services; and Sally Saddler, Board President; will present the JSD budget.
