IV. Juneau School District Budget Presentation
Members of the School Board, Glen Gelbrich, Superintendent, and David Means, Director of Administrative Services, will present the School District’s FY14 budget.
The School District’s FY14 Revised Budget includes CBJ funding to the CAP (maximum allowed by State law for operations) of $24,134,400 and funding outside the CAP of $570,000 (community schools, student transportation and high school activities).
No action is required at this time. At the April 22, 2013 Regular Assembly Meeting, the Assembly is required, by motion, to indicate the amount of funding to be made available from the CBJ for the JSD general operations.
V. Capital Improvements Projects Program
Rorie Watt, Engineering Director, will present the Capital Improvement Projects Program Budget to the Assembly Finance Committee (AFC). The Capital Improvement Projects Program Budget was distributed to the AFC members on April 3. The document can also be located on the City’s website at http://www.juneau.org/engineering/CIP/2014-2019.php
Included in your packet is resolution, Serial No. 2640, adopting the City and Borough’s Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2014 through 2019, and establishing the Capital Improvement Project Priorities for Fiscal Year 2014. This resolution is set for the 2013-04-22 Regular Assembly Meeting.
VI. Marine Passenger Fee Funding Recommendations
Each year the City Manager is tasked with developing recommendations on the usage of the available Marine Passenger Fee (MPF) revenues. Enclosed in the packet are:
