A. Overview - Allan Heese, Juneau
International Airport (JNU) Airport Manager, will narrate a power point presentation
that focuses on the Runway Safety Area (RSA) and the need for the Land Transfer
from the State. Your packet includes several pieces of correspondence from
various agencies regarding the possible land transfer. Also included is a
memo from Mr. Heese and another from the CBJ Attorney's office.
B. Resolution 2271 - A Resolution Requesting Transfer of Certain Tidelands
Adjacent to the Juneau International Airport From the State of Alaska to the
City and Borough of Juneau, and Assigning Departmental Responsibility for
the Administration of Such Lands to the Airport.
