Capital City Fire/RescueResidential Structure Fire 7-1-10On Thursday, July 1, 2010, at approximately 2:30 am, Capital City Fire Rescue responded to Spruce wood Trailer Park, Space #87, for a residential structure fire. While en route, dispatch stated that there were occupants still inside, however before fire personnel arrived, the occupants safely escaped the fire. The structure was fully engulfed with fire when personnel arrived. Fire personnel were on scene for about three and a half hours for fire suppression and an additional two hours for investigation. The fire loss is estimated at approximately $100,000 for structure and contents. The structure is not insured. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the fire marshal's office. |
