Firefighters raise $10,870.00 for MDA with Fill the Boot
The IAFF Professional Firefighters Union and CCF/R Firefighters went out in the community for the annual MDA Fill the Boot Program. During this two day event the firefighters of Juneau collected $10,870.00 to help with muscular dystrophy research.
There has been a long standing tradition of firefighters supporting the MDA through the fill the boot program. We are very proud of the efforts our Career and Volunteer Firefighters have put in on their own time to support such a worthy program. We would like to thank the community for making this such a successful event.
