Capital City Fire/RescueFire at Commercial Signs & Printing 11-4-09On 11-4-09 at approximately 1240 hours, CCFR responded to a reported fire at the Emporium Mall in The Commercial Signs & Printing Shop. 2 Ambulances, 2 Engines, 2 Chief Officers, Deputy Fire Marshal approximately 15 Firefighters responded to the scene. On arrival smoke was found in the building. Acting Captain, Noah Jenkins assumed command of the incident. The fire attack teams found that some sweat shirts were bound up in a silk screening drying oven. The fire was completely extinguished and the smoke was removed from the building. There was one minor burn injury to a store employee from putting the fire out. He was evaluated by paramedics and released at the scene. Damage was contained to 4 sweatshirts.
