Capital City Fire/Rescue8-14-2012 - Commercial Structure Fire Response- 11024 Auke Lake WayOn Wednesday, August 14, 2012, at approximately 2:22 AM, Capital City Fire Rescue responded to 11024 Auke Lake Way, the Chapel by the Lake, for a report of multiple fire alarm activation and possible commercial structure fire. Engine 31, Truck 32, Engine 41, Squad 45 and approximately 12 personnel responded to the location. Upon arrival, fire personnel found that the boiler unit in the building had a malfunction and caused the small fire. An interview with a building worker had revealed that a small fire had been discovered in the boiler room. A portable fire extinguisher was used to extinguish the fire. There was no fire damage or injuries reported. A thorough walk through of the building was conducted to make sure there was no fire or smoke extension. Submitted by Fire Marshal Daniel Jager |
