5/18/12 - Intentional Fire - Orca Point Apartments
On Friday, May 18, 2012, at approximately noon, Capital City Fire Rescue was dispatched to Orca Point Apartments for a structure fire. While enroute, personnel were advised a shed with several fuel cans was on fire. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a smoldering fire that had been partially extinguished by a tenant that used a portable fire extinguisher. There were no injuries reported. The shed sustained approximately $2,000 in damage and is insured.
This fire is being investigated as an intentional set fire. Anyone with information about this fire is encouraged to contact the Capital City FIre Marshal's Office at 586-5322.
