MEETING NO. 98-22: The Special meeting of the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly, held in the Assembly Chambers of the Municipal Building, was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Deputy Mayor MacKinnon.

1. Resolution No. 1934

A RESOLUTION FIXING THE FINAL PRINCIPAL AMOUNTS AND INTEREST RATES OF THE GENERAL OBLIGATION TECHNOLOGY BONDS, 1998 AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE SERIAL NO. 98-15 AND ACCEPTING A BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID BONDS.

Administrative Report: Attached. Ms. Pierce said there was a red folder item, referred to in resolution as exhibits A, B, and C. The successful bidder is the firm of Solomon Smith Barney. There was one other bid received, which was exhibit C. The blank space on the body of the resolution in the packet should be filled out with the name of the successful bidder, Solomon Smith Barney. The Deputy Manager recommended adoption of this resolution as amended.

Assembly Action:

MOTION – by Kibby, to adopt Resolution No. 1934, as recommended by staff, and he asked for unanimous consent. There being no objection, it was so ordered.
