An Ordinance Of The City And Borough Of Juneau, Alaska, Authorizing Certain Additions, Improvements And Renovations Of Bartlett Regional Hospital; Authorizing The Sale And Issuance Of Revenue Bonds Of The City And Borough In The Principal Amount Of Not To Exceed $25,000,000, For The Purpose Fo Providing Permanent Financing For Said Additions, Improvements And Renovations, Funding Reserves, And Capitalizing Interest; And Providing For The Repayment Of Such Bonds Over A Term Of Years; Fixing The Form, An Ordinance Of The City And Borough Of Juneau, Alaska, Authorizing Certain Additions, Improvements And Renovations Of Bartlett Regional Hospital; Authorizing The Sale And Issuance Of Revenue Bonds Of The City And Borough In The Principal Amount Of Not To Exceed $25,000,000, For The Purpose Of Providing Permanent Financing For Said Additions, Improvements And Renovations, Funding Reserves, And Capitalizing Interest; And Providing For The Repayment Of Such Bonds Over A Term Of Years; Fixing The Form, Terms, Maturities And Covenants Of The Bonds; Providing A Method Of Payment Therefor; And Reserving The Right To Issue Revenue Bonds On A Parity With The Bonds Upon Compliance With Certain Conditions.

An Ordinance Appropriating To The Manager The Sum Of $30,000 For Purchase Of Equipment Such As A Scoreboard Or Sound System At The Treadwell Arena. Such Funds Provided By An Anonymous Donation.

e. Ordinance 2002-18 (AU)    Economic Impact Statement
An Ordinance Appropriating To The Manager The Sum Of $12,600 For Development Of Historic Interpretive Signs In The Downtown Historic District. Such Funds Provided By The Alaska Department Of Natural Resources.

f. Ordinance 2002-18(AV)
An Ordinance Appropriating To The Manager The Sum Of $837,000 As Partial Funding For Design Of The New High School.  Such Funds Provided By 1991 General Obligation Bonds Interest Income.

Transferring $25,000 From The Essential Building Repair Project Into The Major Maintenance And Repair Of The Downtown Parking Garage.

Moving $611,000 In FY01 And FY03 Areawide Sales Tax From The Second Gastineau Crossing – Design, $436,000, And Downtown Covered Sidewalk Project, $175,000 To The Following Projects: Marine Park/Front Street Restroom Project; JAHMI Building Demolition And Parking Lot Construction; Gunakadeit Park-Planning And Design.

An Ordinance Amending The Land Use Code To Establish A Utility Connection Exemption For Isolated Minor Subdivisions.

*This item was advertised for public hearing, but has been postponed to the February 10, 2003 Regular Assembly Meeting.

B. Ordinance 2002-18 (AP)    Economic Impact Statement    Suggested Amended Version
An Ordinance Appropriating To The Manager The Sum Of $29,000,000 As Partial Funding For Bartlett Regional Hospital’s Project 2005. Such Funds, $20,000,000, Provided By Revenue Bonds, And $9,000,000 By Anticipated Sales Tax Revenue Tax Anticipation Notes.
