IV. UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Resolution 2187
A Resolution Reestablishing the Rules of Procedure for the Assembly of the City and Borough of Juneau, Alaska and Repealing Resolution No. 2155.

When Resolution 2187 was adopted on Monday, December 2, 2002, it was adopted with an immediate effective date. The original intent was to have the meeting changes begin as of January 1, 2003. With the resolution in effect immediately, December meetings would fall on December 9 and December 23, 2002, rather than December 2 and December 16, 2002. 

In order to continue with the regularly scheduled meetings for 2002, the Assembly, may, by motion, change the dates of the December meetings from December 9 and 23, 2002 to December 16, 2002. The new wording from Resolution 2187 provides "The Assembly may by motion or otherwise change the date of a meeting as may be necessary or convenient."
